Why we're here...
"The arts are a challenging and under-appreciated field. However, I believe very deeply in the importance of creative work for individuals/communities and for social change. We need more art in the world - not merely for entertainment, but for the well-being of our communities, to reconnect to the self, and to foster a more universal and inclusive language. Being an artist is a constant risk, but one that is well worth the moments of inspiration that allow us to create, perform, share, teach and inspire."

Dry Run one week prior on Saturday, September 27th at 6:30p -- volunteers not required but welcome.
We'll tour the backstage areas, sign releases, confirm the program and music, discuss the walkways on and off the stage, practice the order of performances, and have a Q&A. Should be 45-60 minutes. Anticipate 90 minutes for a lot of questions or late arrivals. Anything not confirmed at the virtual check-in is confirmed here.
Note: Lack of participation in the virtual check-in will make this painfully long...
Rehearsal one night prior on Friday, October 3rd at 6:30p
[The wet run with volunteers might be delayed one hour so Tess can come]
Volunteers arrive at 4:30 unless it's delayed, then 5:30. We can start taking down the poles, setting up the chairs and tagging them, moving any tables needed...
Performers meet Tess, Dan, and Leighanne. Cues and intros will be confirmed. You can drop your stuff off for the show "backstage".
Photographer and DJ are coming at 6.
It is very difficult to see each other's performances the night of so this is the prime opportunity. You WILL miss pieces of the actual show. This will be about 90 minutes unless there are late arrivals. Full costume and makeup expected here, especially if you didn't have it for the dry run. Photos and video are happening.
Showtime Saturday, October 4th at 6:30p
Call time for performers is 5:30 - you will be ready to rock and roll - and we have a brief talk. Doors open at 5:45p. Break a leg!
"Late Performer" ticket holders will stay after the show to clean and put the studios back in order. If the show is only an hour and the clean up is done after an hour, then everybody goes home!
